ANWAR SUPREME / PLAN-A-EMCEE “Lyrically Reclaim Your Brain” returns with a message that sounds relevant. Written more than two decades ago, the track challenges passive thinking and encourages people to question the forces that shape their lives. Its concerns with social struggles, global issues and economic pressure still ring true in 2026, giving this rebooted release a purpose beyond nostalgia.

The production has been modernized for a heavier, contemporary sound, but the original lyrics are intact. That choice preserves the song's original point of view while giving it a contemporary musical foundation. Anwar’s signature Cali style is evident in a smooth, effortless flow, sharpened by intricate wordplay and multisyllabic rhymes. His energetic delivery adds momentum, and the beat's striking pauses let his lyrical agility shine through.

The bit about prices going up and global problems still carries a sense of urgency. “Lyrically Reclaim Your Brain” is about thinking for yourself, questioning assumptions, and not being complacent. This release is a purposeful statement, thanks in part to its modernized production and perennial subject matter.
