M.A.M. defies the downpull in "Gravity II"

Carlton Jones, the voice and inspiration driving M.A.M. (Motivation, Attitude, and Mindset), returns with a highly personal sequel that doesn't just revisit previous weight; his newest single, "Gravity II," gives it a new definition but does not bridge the emotional grounds of his 2022 release, "Gravity."  This latest installment is more than a sequel but a reckoning.

If the original "Gravity" sounded like a confessional through gritted teeth, "Gravity II" is resistance through melody. The weight hasn't gone away this time, but M.A.M. doesn't want to get the better of the burden but learn to dance with it and, better yet, to grow in its wake. "Feels a bit like a free fall" is how M.A.M. describes the track, though moving towards something new. That tension between falling and flying resonates in the song's ghostly chord progression and its stealth tempo shifts.

The production is layered and immersive; you're pulled into a large and intimate space. M.A.M.'s voice sounds raw but is polished, and it is an emotional high-wire act that allows the message to land between voices. It's thinking man's music that doesn't try too hard, delivering universal truths in a manner that seems entirely personal.

If "Gravity II"  is not just a collection of songs but a documented journey of struggle, surrender, and strength. M.A.M. is constructing a frame of mind. With "Gravity II," he confirms that life can pull us down and ground us in truth. This radio-ready track should outsell already bloated playlists and find its way to late-night radio or, better, bang around in the headphones of anyone still learning how to live with change instead of in resistance to it.
