BGS WOP bets on himself with electrifying anthem "All In"

BGS WWOP's new song, "All In," is for the early riser, the late-night schemer who keeps coming to the table even when things don't seem stacked in their favor. At the end of a long lead comes the circusy "All In," with hooks like drills into your head and a beat tailor-made for volume on playlists that power the grind. As immediately hard as this is out of the gate, WOP's cuts are razor sharp and maintain momentum throughout.

Pia Sarma "Cherry Glazerr" (Mom + Pop) There's an appealingly arty cool to Cherry Glazerr's music, an indie-rock that is noise-poppy but drawn more toward minimalism. It taps into the obliquely detailed honesty that helped make previous generations of Gen X kids depend on Harriet Wheeler. It's a raw, confident cut here, and no apologies for ambition. BGS WOP is arriving brandishing his deck, and he's pushing all of the chips forward. The beat knocks confidently, layering thudding 808s and head-nodding snares under a melodic bass line that sinks in like you want to fall into the track and never leave. But how WOP rides the rhythm takes this from a banger to an anthem.

Each line feels like it was written in the thick of the grind but scribbled down late at night with nothing but dreams and drive to keep the engine running. There's a yearning in his voice that doesn't sound performative but sounds like he means it. And that's what makes "All In" struck: it's not only about chasing success, it's about never folding. In a time when genuineness can seem buried beneath the babel, BGS WOP doesn't show up empty-handed. "All In" doesn't aim to trick anyone into what it's up to; it's confident and determined. And it's the sort of thing that gives you the energy to chase down whatever you've been putting off.
