 Silja Rós - Love & Affirmation

Love & Affirmation, is the latest release from the Icelandic artists Silja Rós & Bergrós. The best friends and rising stars wrote the song together about self-love. Silja Rós is currently working on her third album set to be released next fall. Bergrós recently released her album "Us and the Moon". Her single "I'll Show You" has reached over 4.000.000 streams.

“The song means a lot to me both because I co-wrote it with my best friend, Bergrós, who has always been so supportive, and also because the lyrics are very close to my heart. The song is about self-love and how important it is to let go of the pressure that we tend to put on ourselves. I decided to release the song on my birthday July 29th and celebrate the release with Bergrós in Copenhagen where she is currently based.”

The song was recorded at Studio Bambus by Stefán Örn.The band includes Kjalar on piano, Magnus Dagsson on guitar, Kristófer Nökkvi on drums, and Baldur Kristjánsson on bass. Skonrokk mastered the track.
