Seán Finn and the Late Bloomers
Out on a Farm
‘Seán Finn and the Late Bloomers’ release their third single ‘Out on a Farm’ on the 19th of July. Helmed by frontman Seán Finn, the group has become known for their quirky stage antics and vibrant musicality. The group has frequented many of London’s notable live music venues such as the Spice of Life, Soho and Toulouse Lautrec, Kennington.
‘Out on a Farm’ is a whacky tune with jazzy chords and a crunchy funk rhythm. The track tells the gut-wrenching tale of a successful farmer out on the prairies, tilling the land and searching for love. The tune is marked by a relentless rhythm section, brazen horns, messy keyboard playing, and a crooning madman. Recovering from his method-acting stint as a heartbroken farmer, Seán had this to say about the track:
‘This tune began with a few jazzy chords and initially had a whole different feel to it. When we started jamming it as a band the song morphed into a wild and experimental funk track. This one has become a staple at our live shows, and is definitely a fan favourite!’
‘Out on a Farm’ will be available in all the usual places from the 19th of July. Marking the beginning of their 10-day tour in Ireland, the group are now scouring the country for the perfect farm to retire on.
